SO SAD: Wolverhampton have giving there coach in loan for some years……

It appears Gonçalo Guedes is receiving all the assistance he needs to flourish during his current loan stint at Benfica, while Wolverhampton Wanderers are undoubtedly keeping an eye on his position there.

According to a report in the Portuguese newspaper A Bola today, the footballer is vying for a spot on the team with nine other players.

Guedes can play as a center-forward and on both sides, therefore he essentially competes for any opening in Benfica’s attack.

At the weekend’s match against Estoril, the Wolves loanee made a comeback and played for 86 minutes. After being sidelined for five months following knee surgery, there was his comeback.

The attacker needs to shatter another record now that he has gone almost eight months without scoring, which is his goal drought. That may end up happening in the upcoming weeks since Benfica has great faith in him.

Guedes had previously been loaned to Benfica in January, but a year was added to his loan because no significant offers were made for him in the summer. Wolves can only now hope that he performs well this year because he is now valued by Transfermarkt at €23 million and might be a part of a lucrative deal in the summer.
