As Rangers’ best player prepares for a return to Ibrox, Todd Cantwell gives a hint about an injury.
The Ibrox star has been sidelined with an injury since Celtic’s defeat in September.
After being sidelined for more than six weeks due to injury, Rangers star Todd Cantwell has indicated he will return to play shortly.
The playmaker is a crucial member of the Ibrox squad and one of the few additions made by Michael Beale that have so far paid off. The former Norwich player, who suffered a knee injury in the defeat to Celtic on September 3, was out for “three or four games,” though he had hinted that it wasn’t as simple as first thought.
Cantwell tweeted a video of his career highlights at Rangers and posted it with a home emoji and the caption: “Soon.” However, with a new manager ready to take over, he is aiming to return to action soon, which might be as early as the Hibs game at Ibrox.
Since joining the team from Norwich in January, Cantwell has made 28 appearances and scored six goals, all of which came last season. Although he hasn’t scored yet this season, he played a variety of midfield positions before being hurt.
