The injuries are the worst part of preseason football, and the first quarter for the Texans has been a nightmare.
Lamar Miller was taken off the field first. The drawer test, which measures the ACL’s tensile strength, was performed by the doctor while the patient was being examined on the field. Of course, we’ll wait for the team’s formal diagnosis, but dang, things do not seem good. Miller just finished a very successful season in 2018.
Soon later, while Deshaun Watson was being sacked, Zach Fulton was rolled up on and had to be carried off the field.
Preseason injuries are the worst.
UPDATE: Mild turf toe has been identified in Zach Fulton, according to Mark Berman.
UPDATE 2: According to Aaron Wilson, Lamar Miller might suffer an ACL tear. The diagnosis will be verified by an MRI.
