Daryl Dike of West Brom might be out for a while due to an Achilles injury.
Daryl Dike, a striker for Albion, suffered an Achilles injury during the team’s comeback triumph at Stoke, and he now appears to be out for an additional lengthy spell.

Dike, a striker who has had terrible injury luck in his year at The Hawthorns, appears to have sustained a third serious injury after being carried out in first-half stoppage time with his team behind 1-0.

But after the break, Jayson Molumby snuck in a remarkable double to the joy of the visiting Baggies for the team’s first away victory since January 14.

The striker’s Achilles has been hurt, according to Carlos Corberan, although Albion will wait before doing further examinations and evaluations of the condition.

“It appears to be an Achilles injury, and they never really heal well,” Corberan added. Even if managing an Achilles injury is never simple, we still need to evaluate. However, Achilles injuries can be well-managed.

In his 14 months at Albion, the 22-year-old American international has already experienced extensive injury layoffs due to separate hamstring and thigh problems.

Since November, just before the World Cup break, he has been back in shape and has played the longest for Albion. Dike has scored seven goals throughout that time, many of which were crucial game-winning goals.
