JUST IN: Midfielder with ties to Rangers expected to take the starting spot for Scotland

Lewis Ferguson, a midfielder for Bologna with ties to Ibrox, is expected to replace injured Rangers player Ryan Jack in the Scotland squad.

Jacko, a standout for Rangers, has withdrawn from the Scotland’s doubleheader against Spain and France after missing the team’s last two games due to injuries.

Ibrox insiders were surprised that Ryan Jack had made the Scotland team despite the Rangers injury since the midfielder has yet again struggled to make an impression this year.

Lewis Ferguson, who has ties to Ibrox, was mentioned by a Tartan Army assistant as a potential replacement for injured Ryan Jack before of Scotland’s journey to play Spain in the European Championship, which Scotland won 2-0.

Carver has also stated that no one will be called up by Scotland to replace the Rangers midfielder.

John Carver, Steve Clarke’s assistant, responded, “No, I think we’ll just leave it as it is.

“Steve selected the team, and we knew Ryan had a problem, and we were fairly happy with what we had. Because of how brilliantly Lewis Ferguson performed in Bologna, Italy, I’ll mention him specifically among the men waiting in the wings.

He had a successful season the previous year, and you can see his mental and physical growth. He may have led the team last night, which is an outstanding accomplishment for him.

There are individuals waiting to enter. There are other guys, like Kenny McLean, who has done great things for us, so we have enough backup to handle the two games.

Ryan Jack cannot represent Scotland due to an injury.

Scotland has been named a co-host nation for Euro 2028, despite Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack withdrawing from the team due to an injury.

In a big boost to football in all five participating nations, UEFA has announced that the UK and Ireland will host the tournament in five years.

Turkey withdrew from the competition after learning that Hampden Stadium will serve as the site for tournament matches, leaving the UK and Ireland bid to compete alone.

No country is guaranteed a spot at the event because there will only be two spots reserved for any of the five nations who don’t qualify via the standard European Championship qualification process.
