NFL Week 6 winners include a hero making history and stellar defenses against the remaining unbeaten teams.

Here is a look at the NFL Week 6 winners now that the majority of the games have been completed:

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill: As unbelievable as it may sound, Hill had another strong performance for the Dolphins in their 42-21 rout of the Carolina Panthers in Week 6. Hill attracted some debate despite catching six of his ten receptions for 163 yards and an incredible 27.2 yards per catch.

Hill caught a 41-yard touchdown throw from quarterback Tua Tagovailoa late in the first half, but before celebrating, he grabbed his phone and did a backflip. This will undoubtedly leave him short on cash.

In addition to his extracurricular efforts, Hill also made NFL history on Sunday. The dynamic wide receiver has over 150 receiving yards in each game this season, becoming him the first player in NFL history to accomplish this feat six weeks into a season.

Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert: With yet another spectacular play in the Dolphins’ 42-21 victory over the Carolina Panthers, Mostert continued his amazing 2023. Mostert had three receptions for 17 yards and a touchdown in the air in addition to his 115 yards and two scores gained on the ground.

Only four players have scored more in the first six weeks of a season than him: Jim Brown (15, 1958), Shaun Alexander (12, 2005), Emerson Boozer (12, 1967), and Abner Haynes (12, 1962). He now leads the NFL with 11 touchdowns.

Cleveland Browns defense: With a 19-17 victory over the San Francisco 49ers, the Browns gave the 49ers their first defeat of 2023. The 49ers offense was limited by Cleveland to just 215 yards of offense, their lowest total since 2016. They held running back Christian McCaffrey (11 carries, 43 yards, one TD) and wide receiver Deebo Samuel (one catch, one yard) in check and made quarterback Brock Purdy have his worst start-to-start day.

Purdy was 12-of-27 for 125 yards and a score, finishing with the lowest passer rating of his career (55.3) while being under pressure for the majority of the day.

QB for the Houston Texans, C.J. Stroud In the Texans’ 20-13 victory over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, Stroud’s statistics weren’t particularly noteworthy. The rookie, nevertheless, continued to portray the role of

Stroud helped the surprise Texans, lead by a first-year quarterback and head coach, head into their bye week at 3-3 with the victory on 13-of-27 passing for 199 yards and two touchdowns.
Stroud’s record-breaking string of 191 passes without throwing an interception did come to an end, but his reaction should delight Texans supporters. Stroud directed a six-play, 59-yard scoring drive for Houston’s subsequent possession, which was finished off by a touchdown pass of one yard to tight end Dalton Schultz.

New York Jets defense: The Jets’ valiant defense helped them overcome the previously unbeaten Philadelphia Eagles 20-14. The Jets maintained their lead over the Eagles in the second half after giving up 14 points before the break.

They also three times intercepted quarterback Jalen Hurts while causing four turnovers. Hurts joins Josh Allen (62.7 QBR, Week 1) and Patrick Mahomes (63.6 QBR, Week 4) as the third elite quarterback the Jets’ defense has rendered unimpressive.

QB for the Detroit Lions, Jared Goff Goff performed admirably against the tenacious Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The seasoned quarterback completed 30-of-44 passes for 353 yards and two scores, possibly his best performance as a Lion. Goff was the only quarterback to achieve 300 yards passing without throwing an interception after the end of the late-game schedule.

The Lions defeated the Buccaneers 20-6 to improve to 5-1. They have won four straight games for the NFC North lead, and Goff is driving the charge.
