After undergoing surgery on an injured finger, Cameron Munster was given a three-week absence.

ALERT: Melbourne After having surgery for the horrific finger injury he sustained in Thursday night’s victory over the Eels, Storm star Cameron Munster will be sidelined for two to three weeks.

After the game, coach Craig Bellamy stated that Munster had sustained a complex dislocation to his finger, adding to the club’s already extensive injury list.

In the first half of the Storm’s 16-12 victory over the Eels in the season opener, Munster exited the field clutching his right hand before coming back to finish the game.
