In advance of their game on Thursday, the Indianapolis Colts published their Monday injury report for Week 9 of the NFL season today. The Colts just conducted a walkthrough, so the practice report only provides an estimate of how much each player participated, if any.
Due to a concussion, wide receiver TY Hilton would not have participated in today’s practice. On Sunday, Hilton crashed forcefully on his head and neck after attempting to catch a ball from Carson Wentz. On Sunday, Hilton received a prompt diagnosis of concussion and left the game. This week, Hilton has already been declared OUT because it would have been too difficult for him to get through the concussion protocol in time to participate.
Due to a hamstring issue, cornerback Bopete Keyes would not have participated in today’s practice. Keyes missed the Titans game after suffering a hamstring injury against the 49ers. Given the lack of depth at cornerback at the moment, Keyes is a key addition.
Safety Due to a calf injury, Khari Willis would not have participated in practice today. Willis left the Titans game after suffering a calf injury. Willis has fought with ailments this year and appeared to be recovering just to get hurt once more. If required, Sendejo and Odum will likely step in.
Due to a toe ailment, offensive guard Quenton Nelson would have been limited today. Nelson has been sidelined by injuries all season and is just now making a comeback after playing the last two games while on injured reserve. This week, Nelson will be someone to watch.
