Rapoport: ‘The Insiders’: Dolphins are extending Ramsey’s leave of absence by 21 days.
Due to a back ailment, Jimmy Garoppolo will not practice on Wednesday.
Starting quarterback Derek Carr will not be available for the Raiders to start the week.
During his news conference, head coach Josh McDaniels informed media that Jimmy Garoppolo will not be practicing on Wednesday.
McDaniels stated that he was not aware of any new developments regarding the signal-caller.
Following Sunday’s victory over the Patriots, Garoppolo was forced to the hospital as a precaution due to a back ailment. Garoppolo did not sustain any internal wounds.
With seven touchdowns and eight interceptions in five games this season, Garoppolo has completed 68 percent of his throws for 1,079 yards, good for an 82.6 passer rating.
In the event that Garoppolo is unable to play this weekend against Chicago, rookie quarterback Aidan O’Connell may receive his second start of the year.
O’Connell finished 24-of-39 for 238 yards and an interception in the Chargers’ Week 4 loss.
Nate Hobbs, the cornerback, will not practice on Wednesday, according to McDaniels. Due to an ankle injury, Hobbs has missed the last three games.
