JUST IN: Daniel Farke confirms Leeds United key star from training today…..

Daniel Farke’s Whites will next go to Norwich City, his former haunt, in an attempt to maintain the upward trend that has Leeds firmly in the running for promotion.

The German’s pregame injury updates have been far more encouraging as he gets his team ready for yet another challenging away game.

Archie Gray’s selection on the Leeds squad sheet for their most recent game at home against Bristol City was a slight surprise because he lined up on the right side of defense and performed admirably.

Even with Leeds’ depth in midfield and at right-back when everyone is fit, the 17-year-old’s latest strong showing showed why he is getting harder and harder to leave out of the starting eleven.

The teenager didn’t have any downtime during the international break as he played three complete 90 minutes of England under-19 matches against Montenegro, Wales, and Austria.

Gray update shared by Farke
Even while it will ultimately hurt the player’s ability to play for Leeds in the Championship, Farke understands that he cannot stand in the way of a player’s aspirations to play for his country.

During his pre-game press conference, Farke answered questions concerning the midfield player and revealed that, in order for Gray to fully heal (via the YEP), he actually kept him out of team practice today:

“Although I’m glad Archie survived without any injuries, I decided to leave him in the dressing room today so he could work on his recuperation. You must acknowledge that.

It’s the appropriate choice to maintain his health, even if it occasionally necessitates his sacrifice in the league.

Since he is only 17 years old, playing for ninety minutes per game won’t help him in the future if injuries do happen.

Eden Hazard is just one of many players that make their debuts at a young age and play an unbelievable amount of football, only for their careers to end prematurely.
