JUST IN: International boss speaks on a key star availability injury…..

During a recent news conference, an international head coach shared his opinions regarding the availability of an injured Newcastle United player.

Barnes is qualified to compete internationally for both Scotland and England. Although he was born in England, his maternal grandparents were both born in Scotland. Furthermore, according to The Times, Barnes is ‘keen’ on the notion of joining the Scottish national team.

Despite having an England cap, Barnes has only played once for the Three Lions. Barnes’ only international appearance was in a friendly match between England and Wales, which England won 3-0. Because of this, the match is not considered competitive, and Barnes is still free to play for any team he chooses on the international scene.

What was Steve Clarke’s opinion on Harvey Barnes?

“I like what I have but I’m never going to close my eyes and ears to something that might improve us in the future,” Clarke remarked in reference to Harvey Barnes during a recent news conference, as reported by The Scotsman. However, everyone tries to convince me to choose other people. With my squad, I’m happy. I appreciate what they give their country and me. I appreciate that they consistently show up.

Even if they don’t always play a lot of minutes, they still show up and encourage the other guys. Although I’m content with what I have, I won’t ever shut my eyes or ears to anything that could one day make us better.

But Clarke also mentioned Barnes’ state of injury, stating: “At this point, it is not a topic of discussion. Moving ahead, it’s not really a conversation. I like my squad, as I’ve mentioned.
