SO SAD: A hero of the Browns makes his triumphant comeback from a severe ACL injury….

Nick Chubb’s career as a running back for the Cleveland Browns ended after just two weeks. Chubb took a carry against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football, and when he was tackled, his left knee bowed awkwardly. Later on, it was discovered that Chubb had actually torn the ACL in that knee, despite rumors that the damage was far worse.

Chubb will have surgery to address the ailment. He’s not just standing by, though. His return has already commenced. According to ESPN’s Jake Trotter, the running back has begun lifting weights and concentrating on his upper body in preparation for knee surgery.

For a running back who doesn’t back down from contact, the former Georgia Bulldog has maintained astonishingly good health throughout his NFL career. Chubb participated in every Browns game three times between 2018 and 2022, missing only seven in the other two seasons.

His four-season run of Pro Bowl selections coming into 2023 will undoubtedly come to an end.

Because of the injuries he suffered against the Steelers, Chubb has already had one operation. At the end of September, the Browns reported that Chubb had had successful surgery to repair damage to Chubb’s medial capsule, meniscus, and medial collateral ligament.

The team pointed out that ACL repair surgery is a different procedure. Chubb hasn’t gone through it yet.

Chubb is undoubtedly looking forward to his comeback to an NFL field in Week 1 of 2024, given that his recuperation period usually lasts between nine and twelve months. I wish Chubb luck on his journey to rehabilitation because of his commitment to working out even before his ACL is fixed.
