The most recent information about Leeds United before their match against Norwich City at Carrow Road today
Tyler Adams, a midfielder for Bournemouth, will be sidelined until the new year due to a hamstring injury. The American international, who underwent surgery for the same condition while playing for Leeds last season, will undergo the procedure once more in an attempt to fix it.
The player, who hasn’t played since Stoke’s Carabao Cup match, will be sidelined for “at least three or four months,” according to manager Andoni Iraola.
Prior to the match against Wolves, he stated on the team’s official website: “We discussed two weeks ago, and one of the options, following Tyler’s emotions after the cup game, was that he had to solve this problem once and for all.
“After surgery, he’ll be out for at least three or four months.” He wasn’t feeling well after the last surgery; he was getting better, then had a setback, and then got better again. There was a mishap, and he will have to try it again.”
Farke will be returning for the first time to Carrow Road, where he led the Canaries to the top flight and won two Championship titles. The two parties’ dismal Premier League debuts led to their separation in 2021.
With Norwich City relegated at the end of the 2022 season, the managerial change was insignificant. Farke leads Leeds United to Norfolk in search of a crucial three points against one of their early promotion rivals. There are currently just two points separating the two teams at this point in the season, and former Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner has his own promotion credentials.
For the trip to Carrow Road, the Whites’ roster is almost fully healthy, but Djed Spence, Stuart Dallas, and Junior Firpo are still out. While Spence continues his rehabilitation at Elland Road, the other two members of the trio have returned to training but selection is still a few weeks away.
