SHOCKING NEWS: Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb’s knee injury…..

Odell Beckham Jr. left the Cleveland Browns’ game against the Cincinnati Bengals due to an injury he sustained after Baker Mayfield intercepted the ball in the first quarter.
It’s detrimental whenever a quarterback intercepts someone on the team’s first drive. However, Baker Mayfield’s interception in the first quarter of the Cleveland Browns’ Week 7 game against the Cincinnati Bengals might have been particularly damaging.

After Mayfield intercepted Cincinnati cornerback Darius Phillips to negate a Browns linebacker B.J. Goodson interception, Odell Beckham Jr., who was the play’s target, ended up lying on the field with what appeared to be an injury after the return. The three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver eventually made it out on his own, but not before making his way to the locker room due to a knee injury.

Beckham’s ability to play again was first in doubt, but he has since been ruled out for the rest of the match. Beckham disclosed earlier in the week that he has also been coping for the past few weeks with a turf toe injury.

Cleveland, which came into their game against the Bengals on Sunday with a 4-2 record, may find it imperative to lose Beckham for any length of time. The LSU product has been the Browns’ main downfield threat and best all-around playmaker in six games, catching 23 passes for 319 yards and three touchdowns.

It was Mayfield’s second interception of the season on the opening drive, following his pick-6 to safety Minkah Fitzpatrick in the Browns’ 38-7 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers the previous week. Mayfield has thrown seven interceptions so far this season, five of which have come in the last three games.
