NEWS NOW: Best reactions to Bengals signing……..

After making their first wave of free agency acquisitions, the Cincinnati Bengals made two significant additions to the offensive line in front of Joe Burrow, based on the initial response.

One was guard Alex Cappa, who joins from the Tampa Bay Bucs and should, at the very least, provide a steady presence at right guard for a few years.

Ted Karras, a left guard or center upgrade who joins from the New England Patriots, came in second. What the team chooses to do along the interior of the offensive line will determine where he plays.

The overwhelmingly positive response to the changes speaks for itself.

Looking forward to Ted Karras’s and Alex Cappa’s contract press conferences.

I’m eager to learn more about those guys as individuals and hear them discuss what drew them to the #Bengals.

Nice guys, I just want to hear them talk about the Bengals!

PFF grade for Alex Cappa in 2021: 71.9 (9th out of 35 RG)
PFF grade for Hakeem Adeniji in 2021: 43.0 (35th out of 35 RG)

significant improvement for the Bengals (t.co/v4temssF5m)

The #Bengals are making their first attempt to duplicate their success on the OL with seasoned DBs in Ted Karras and Alex Cappa. It’s very intelligent. Purchase in the middle of the market, obtain the de facto option years after the guaranteed funds run out, and use the large funds to keep your own when necessary.

Today, my spouse awarded the Bengals an A+ in free agency because, quote:

“Alex Cappa has really nice hair.”
