The team announced on Wednesday that the entire roster of the Edmonton Oilers will make a return visit to West Edmonton Mall (WEM) for an autograph signing session.
The mall is thrilled to have the team return on October 12 following a great event last year, according to Danielle Woo, general manager and executive vice-president of tourism at WEM.
“The signing, one of our most eagerly awaited events of the year, offers our guests an unparalleled opportunity to meet and greet with all of their favorite players, bringing Oil Country together under one roof,” Woo stated.
According to WEM, a lot of people are anticipated for the 6–8 p.m. event. In the previous year, hockey enthusiasts would wait in line for up to twelve hours in order to secure an autograph from their preferred player.
According to WEM, Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl’s autograph line will only accept autographs from the first 300 fans in line, and McDavid will only be able to sign personalized Upper Deck cards that are available at the table.
Fans can have an autographed team card or personal item for each other player. Players will only be allowed to sign one autograph per person, and posed photo opportunities will not be offered.
According to WEM, a list of the players’ locations will be made public ahead of the event. The players will be dispersed throughout the mall.
