SHOCKING NEWS: after terrifying head injury…….

There was a terrifying moment at the end of the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers’ first drive of their game on Thursday night.

Chargers’ near-end Donald Parham caught what would have been a touchdown pass from Justin Herbert on fourth-and-goal, but he appeared to pass out as he hit the ground in the end zone. Parham’s helmet snapped back, slamming hard against the grass as he tried to catch the ball.

During the game, Parham was taken to the hospital. The Chargers said that he “will likely be discharged from the hospital” on Friday after receiving a concussion diagnosis.

Parham’s body went still on the ground, and his arms jolted up toward his helmet. His closed eyes were visible in a close-up of his face.

Parham lay unconscious for a number of minutes while athletic trainers from the Chargers attended to him. Fox then went to a commercial break, came back, and then took another break. Eventually, with his arms clearly shaking, he was wheeled out while strapped down on a stretcher.

The team declared on Thursday that Parham was being assessed at UCLA Harbor Medical Center for a head injury and that his condition was stable.

After the XFL collapsed in April 2020, the 24-year-old Parham joined the Chargers and is currently in his second season with the team. He has 20 catches, 190 receiving yards, and three touchdowns on 26 targets through nine games this season.
