Arsenal is looking for a superstar wonderkid to replace Erling Haaland in their assault.
Arsenal is seeking for ‘the next Erling Haaland’ to join its strikeforce at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners are unbeaten in the Premier League this season, but Mikel Arteta’s strikers have been chastised for their ineffectiveness. Gabriel Jesus, Eddie Nketiah, and Kai Havertz are all possibilities up front, and while each has shown their worth at times this season, none is a complete striker in all parts of play.
As a result, Arsenal has been linked with new center-forwards, with one wonderkid emerging as a major target.
According to the Mirror, Arsenal is keeping an eye on Benjamin Sesko in their search for new vigor up front, just months after the Slovenian switched from one Red Bull club to another.
The 20-year-old has six goals in 13 games since joining RB Leipzig in the summer. In comparison to Erling Haaland, who also played for Red Bull Salzburg, Sesko is regarded as one of Europe’s best forward talents.
With Manchester United previously interested in the player, the Gunners may face competition for his signature. However, given Leipzig’s reputation as a selling club, Arteta may be able to snare the player for as little as €40 million, with the Bundesliga giants valuing the starlet at that price.
Arsenal have also been connected with Ivan Toney, as Arteta seeks to add a man with physicality to his No.9 options. In North London, Jesus has struggled with injuries, while Havertz has been utilized in midfield.
