This is good news indeed: Cincinnati Bengals Receiving the long awaiting call from….

The Cincinnati Bengals have a bevy of wide receiver talent and teams that are looking for an upgrade have been calling them about Tee Higgins. With less than two hours before the 2023 NFL Trade Deadline wraps up, teams have been looking at ways to improve their rosters.

However, it seems as if the Cincinnati Bengals are not interested in a trade, according to ESPN’s Jeremey Fowler.

#Bengals WR Tee Higgins has garnered trade interest at the deadline, as he did in the offseason, but Cincy is not expected to move the receiver, per source.

So far this season, Tee Higgins has been struggling to get much action as he has recorded 19 catches on 42 targets for 218 yards (11.5 yards per reception) with a pair of touchdown receptions. One team that reportedly is interested in Higgins has been the Los Angeles Chargers. The only issue has been the fact the Bengals are reportedly not interested in moving him before the 4 PM ET Trade Deadline.

If the Bengals do not have plans on extending him or placing the franchise tag on the four-year wide receiver, he will be a free agent at the end of the regular season.

Why would the Cincinnati Bengals be interested in moving Tee Higgins?

The Cincinnati Bengals are trending in the right direction as they are 4-3 and on a three-game winning streak as quarterback Joe Burrow is getting healthier from a calf injury that has plagued him this season. The Bengals offense has been looking a bit weak this year as they are 24th in points per game (18.7) and 23rd in passing yards per game (197.9).

They need some help on the defensive line and can get some help with guys like the New York Jets defensive end Carl Lawson as a potential candidate for a trade. This would be interesting as with the Joe Burrow extension and a looming Ja’Marr Chase extension in the next 24 months, the team may look to move on from the Clemson product.

What teams are calling for Tee Higgins?

With the unlikeness of the Las Vegas Raiders trading Davante Adams, there are going to be teams lining up to acquire proven NFL wide receiver talent. One team is obviously the New York Jets as they have been trying to find a second option to pair alongside of Garrett Wilson.

There are also other teams looking for an improvement to help their offense such as the New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans to name a few. Higgins would be a great addition to any offense and get some more offensive firepower on their team.
