New York Knicks is in total darkness by various injury blow

Much like the Milwaukee Bucks, the New York Knicks’ start to the new season has been far from stellar. The Knicks enter Friday night’s matchup in Milwaukee with a 2-3 record, which includes Wednesday’s tough 95-89 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

It goes without saying that the Knicks — just like the Bucks — are in dire need of a win right now.

Knicks Could Be Without Key Player

New York’s chances to secure a road win against the Bucks just dropped significantly. This is after they listed RJ Barrett as questionable to play due to a left knee injury (h/t Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel).

The 23-year-old is reportedly dealing with soreness in his knee, which does not sound like a major concern. However, it could be serious enough to force Barrett out of Friday’s marquee matchup.

It is important to note, that Barrett sat out Wednesday’s clash against the Cavs because of the same injury. It is now looking like it’s going to be two straight missed games for the former Duke standout.

Milwaukee Bucks Stars Out for Wednesday’s Practice

As for the Bucks, both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard were not available for Wednesday’s practice. Giannis was rested, while Dame was excused for personal reasons.

The good news is that both superstars are expected to play against the Knicks as Milwaukee looks to bounce back from their embarrassing 130-111 loss against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday.
