Due to a terrible injury in the first quarter, a Miami Dolphins standout wide receiver was forced to depart the team’s Week 9 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
A wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins has been injured.
Arye Pulli of Off Sports Place released a video on X of Jaylen Waddle gripping his knee in anguish after a block where he collapsed on the grass when a Chiefs player slid beneath him.
The Dolphins listed Waddle as questionable to return to the game in a statement.
The Dolphins would suffer a significant loss if Waddle were to depart. He’s a tremendous offensive weapon in his own right, and he helps Tyreek Hill by opening up the opposition defense. The Dolphins, who were trailing the Chiefs 7-0 when Waddle was injured, will need their offense to perform well if they are to win in Week 9.
Waddle has returned to the game.
However, Waddle might not be as effective as he was before suffering the injury. The Dolphins might have to adjust their game plan around Waddle’s knee.
