West Ham United winger Jarrod Bowen has said that Real Madrid is the only team that he would leave his current club for.
During a coaching session for young footballers in Brentwood organized by The Sun, Bowen faced a pivotal question from a young Tottenham fan.
Playfully, he discussed the only club he might consider leaving West Ham for, as well as revealing his favourite teammate.
The video capturing the visit shows the exact moment when the young Spurs supporter puts Bowen on the spot with this interesting question to which he answers, “Real Madrid, I like Real Madrid.”
On the other hand, he went on to name Lucas Paqueta as his favourite teammate at the club. Furthermore, he also admitted that he would love West Ham United to sign Real Madrid target Kylian Mbappe if finances weren’t a problem.
Bowen could be an interesting signing for Real Madrid
Describing Bowen is a challenging task, to say the least, as his playing style encompasses a multifaceted approach.
On one hand, he shows the characteristics of a classic winger, ardently hugging the touchline and delivering precise crosses with ease.
On the other hand, he also demonstrates a keen eye for exhibiting his speed and dribbling prowess by cutting inside to move past defenders and positioning himself for scoring opportunities.
Real Madrid, in all honesty, currently lack a player with Bowen’s unique set of skills. While figures like Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo effectively fulfil their roles, there may come a time when Madrid could benefit from the presence of a more traditional winger on the right flank.
Nevertheless, it is crucial to acknowledge that acquiring such a player is not a pressing priority for Real Madrid at the moment. The team, as of now, is not actively contemplating this addition and is not giving it substantial consideration as well.
