‘That is unbelievable’: Sky Sports commentator cannot believe it

Don Goodman, a Sky Sports commentator, praised Liam Cooper for a block he made in the second half of Leeds United’s 0-0 draw with Rotherham United on Friday night, calling him “magnificent.”

Cooper, 32, made his second consecutive start at The New York Stadium as Leeds looked to make it four wins in a row. Crysencio Summerville got us started right away with a stunning curling shot.

However, there were some dubious performances on the night. Junior Firpo appeared rusty, Joel Piroe was quiet, and Georginio Rutter, despite his assist, appeared to be playing with an injury.

In the first 45 minutes, Leeds dominated the ball but did not create many chances, and Rotherham scored in injury time. The goal was scored by Hakeem Odoffin. Rotherham also got off to a better start in the second 45 minutes.

Cooper and his experience saved Leeds from falling behind. Due to an error by the normally dependable Ethan Ampadu, Sam Nombe was able to shoot past Illan Meslier, who had lost his bearings.Don Goodman: This is where points define what happens | Video | Watch TV Show | Sky Sports
