WANDERERS will give Dan Nlundulu the time and space he needs to recognise his potential, says Ian Evatt.
The 24-year-old striker has started just three times in League One since his summer move from Southampton, with his only goals so far coming in the EFL Trophy against Manchester United’s Under-21s.
Evatt remains confident, however, that Nlundulu is making positive progress and after an encouraging display in Tuesday night’s win at Stockport County, he believes more goals will follow.
“I think that was his best game in a Bolton shirt, he was excellent,” he said. “I thought he bullied their back three at times, some brilliant hold-up play, and I think he could have ended the game with three or four assists, and then it looks a different night’s work.
“I have absolutely no doubt that Dan is going to be a top player. Yes, he is a young man, yes, he is still immature in his football education and we are working hard with him on that all the time, but he has so much ability.
