A few of Tennessee’s assistant coaches hit the road Friday to visit one of the Vols’ top remaining targets in the 2024 class. Offensive line coach Glen Elarbee joined first-year tight ends coach Alec Abeln and Joey Halzle, Tennessee’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, in traveling to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., the home of five-star Class of 2024 offensive tackle Jordan Seaton.
The visit also allowed Abeln and Halzle to spend time with four-star Tennessee tight end commitment Jonathan Echols. A Georgia native, Echols has been committed to the Vols since July 2022, when he became their first commitment for the 2024 class.
