Carlos Corberan could be set to axe Alex Mowatt from the starting lineup for the West Brom game against Stoke City on Sunday (17 December).
The 28-year-old played a full 90 minutes for Albion in their 2-0 victory over Rotherham United on Tuesday (12 December).
But the Baggies manager has been rotating his squad in recent weeks to manage the busy schedule, with the midfielder potentially set to miss out against the Potters at the Hawthorns.
Despite the solid display against the Millers on Tuesday, where Grady Diangana and Jed Wallace found the back of the net, Corberan is predicted to make three changes to his lineup.
Alex Palmer will once again start in goal as he looks to maintain his impressive form this season, having kept 10 clean sheets in his 21 appearances [Transfermarkt].
Darnell Furlong will continue in his role at right-back, while Cedric Kipre and Kyle Bartley will keep their places in the heart of defence after building up an excellent partnership over the past couple of months.
After earning his place back in the side in recent weeks, Conor Townsend will start at left-back as he looks to get forward and provide width down the left.
As Corberan reverts back to a two in midfield, Okay Yokuslu will be joined by Nathaniel Chalobah as Mowatt and Jayson Molumby drop down to the bench.
After being an unused substitute against Rotherham, John Swift will return to the starting lineup in an attacking midfield role as he continues his comeback from injury.
Diangana will start on the right-hand side of the attack, while captain Wallace will come back into the starting lineup for Jeremy Sarmiento off the left after he scored a superb free-kick to help seal the three points against the Millers.
Brandon Thomas-Asante will once again lead the line for the Baggies as he looks to score the goals to help his side pick up back-to-back victories.
