The Green Bay Packers know that every single game from here on out can have a drastic impact on their playoff chances. Sitting at 6-7, the Packers can remain in the 7th playoff seed with a win.
The Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Atlanta Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and New Orleans Saints all sit at 6-7 as well.
Knowing that the Packers need a win, the team decided to add a 29-year-old veteran to their active roster prior to their contest against Tampa Bay.

The Green Bay Packers have elevated Drake to the active roster from the practice squad.
The Packers signed Drake to their practice squad earlier this month. He caught two passes for 31 yards in two games for Baltimore earlier this season. Afterwards, he spent time with the Browns’ practice squad, but never played.
Last season, Drake ran for 482 yards and caught 17 passes for 89 yards and a touchdown in 12 games for Baltimore.
It has only been two weeks since Drake has arrived in Green Bay, but this is his second elevated game. Despite providing depth as the third running back option, he did not receive any snaps against New York.
