NY Jets key player out for the remaining of the season

In a media appearance on Wednesday, Robert Saleh provided the most recent injury update for the NY Jets. Trevor Siemian will get the start in Zach Wilson’s absence. Aaron Rodgers is not expected to play.

Okay, happy morning. Zach Wilson will not clear the protocol due to injuries, hence he will be out right away. Aaron (Rodgers) will obviously be out. Duane Brown is expected to appear on the injury report with a back ailment. He is doubtful for the game, but we’ll have to wait and see. That took place yesterday. John Franklin-Myers, or JFM, will then skip practice today.I’m still pleased with JFM. He typically has similar things, but he always makes it to gameday, so I’m still really optimistic about him.Zach Wilson For The Following ThursdayThat remains a possibility. The fact that the game is on a Thursday does make it more difficult for him; he will need to overcome some obstacles during the weekend, but we’ll see.No.

We felt as a team that it would be beneficial to allow him to go out and practice because, as I mentioned before, we had the flexibility in our roster. It’s all a part of his evolution, but once more, the distinction between being placed in injury reserve and being able to practice with the squad is that you’re either on field three or you can do it with the team. We could keep the entire roster as we had for the previous three weeks, and we had the ability to change it without costing anyone their job. We decided to do it because, well, why not?
