According to reports, talks are taking place for Nuno Tavares, an Arsenal loanee, to perhaps join Galatasaray.
Reports from the Turkish news source Yineti Şafak state that talks are on to move Tavares during the next winter window. Since Tavares, who is on loan at Nottingham Forest right now, has been having trouble getting into the starting lineup, there has been talk of a transfer.
After been left out of several Nottingham Forest squads, Tavares was initially anticipated to return to Arsenal in January. However, his future changed when Nuno Espirito Santo was named Forest’s new manager.
Tavares was included in the Premier League starting lineup for the first time in seven games as a result of this development.
most recent news and updates on injuries at Arsenal
Tavares’ time on loan at Forest has not been without difficulties. After his relocation, he participated in the first three games before becoming hurt. Following his recuperation, Tavares was benched for the team’s matches against Liverpool and Villa, and he did not play in any of the games after that.
No injuries were recorded in spite of this, and Tavares kept up his team training.
Tavares showed symptoms of discontent during his three-month break from the game, most notably when he deleted his Instagram account after missing a game against West Ham. These were seen as unmistakable signs of his displeasure with the insufficient playing time.
Tavares had the opportunity to join Galatasaray last summer, but he opted to remain in the Premier League. Galatasaray signed Angeliño from RB Leipzig on loan while he was still playing, with the option to buy if he played 20 games.
Nevertheless, Angeliño’s performance has fallen short of expectations, and talks regarding his possible transfer to Ajax are currently underway.
