Good news for Alabama Crimson

Against Kentucky last week, he was without his best player, but on senior day, Jalen Milroe’s right-hand man made a comeback.

The star wide receiver for the Crimson Tide, Jermaine Burton, came back to produce big plays in Alabama’s home finale against Chattanooga at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Though he was sidelined by illness for the game against the Wildcats, Burton and Milroe’s chemistry was evident in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. At Alabama, the California native recorded his third career 100-yard game and his second

of the season. Burton caught three passes for a game-high 105 yards receiving, which included a 5-yard touchdown, to help the Tide defeat the Mocs 66-10. He had two huge plays for Alabama’s offence, going 56 and 44 yards.

Former Georgia transfer Burton had 537 receiving yards on 26 receptions going into the game. With 29 receptions, he now has 642 yards and 6 touchdowns. After the game, Burton talked to reporters about his relationship with Milroe and how great it felt to play with his teammates on his senior day. Burton is someone the native Texan looks to a lot when it comes to big offensive plays.

In reference to the improvement in his and Milroe’s communication, Burton remarked, “We have come far.” From the beginning, we have always had chemistry. I’ve always connected with J. Mil, even back when Bryce was the guy. Right now, he’s my locker buddy. Before and after practise every day, we crack a lot of jokes. Outside of football, we converse. Although it has been repetition, our chemistry has always been there.

Burton stated that he was always aware of Milroe’s strong self-confidence as a player.

Burton remarked, “You guys don’t see him in practise every day in the media.”

“He is practising every day, giving it his all and working 100% of the time. He works hard every day and has always been a self-assured player. He is aware of his skills, and I’m glad he has the opportunity to demonstrate them all.

Throughout the season, Milroe’s development has been an intriguing tale. In the Iron Bowl the following week, he and Burton aim to destroy Auburn.

The expansion

Miller, a sophomore from Tyler, Texas, can make plays with incredible flair. Miller has strength, but his quickness in the open field makes him a nightmare for opponents to contain. With 77 yards rushing on six carries against Chattanooga, the former four-star had his best performance of the year. Miller averaged 12.8 yards per rush attempt and scored an impressive 45 yards on one play.

When he caught the ball, the Mocs were at a loss for a response. Against Chattanooga, Haynes—a five-star freshman from Georgia—was given the most opportunities to launch his career. On five rushing attempts, he gained 42 yards, including two touchdowns, showcasing his strength and quickness. In the fourth quarter, Haynes bounced a run outside for a 33-yard touchdown.

Additionally, five-star rookie Richard Young scored a touchdown on rushes. Early in the game’s fourth quarter, Young’s came.

Of Alabama’s 315 yards rushing, the three young backs accounted for 121 of the total. While each brings something unique to the rotation, all three work well together. Fans of Tide are happy with what they witnessed and believe something exceptional is about to happen.

Coach Nick Saban emphasised Haynes’ development following the game.

Saban remarked, “Justice is a really good player.” “Given the depth of the position, he may not have had as many opportunities as we would have liked, but I was happy with his performance.” At the end of the game, he made an incredible run for a touchdown.
