The Bengals head coach has high expectations for the Browns game.

The regular-season finale is meaningless for the Cleveland Browns.

They cannot defeat the Baltimore Ravens for the top slot in the division, and they have already guaranteed themselves a postseason berth.

Because of this, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor has stated unequivocally that he will not be taking this game lightly or resting any of his players. He even went so far as to add that they want to win this game by any means necessary (via ProFootballTalk).

The Bengals haven’t triumphed in any divisional game this year, and they would become the first team in more than 20 years to finish winless in the AFC North if they fell to the Browns.

Additionally, the squad would have a winning record for the season if they defeated the Browns.

Even during Joe Burrow’s tenure, Kevin Stefanski has had the Bengals’ number for a considerable amount of time.

This Browns team has put in a ton of work this season, so you can be sure they won’t give up and just go through the motions.

However, the Browns must also concentrate on making the playoffs.

They may be better suited going with PJ Walker and keeping Joe Flacco healthy for the postseason because they have been severely injured and cannot afford any more serious setbacks.

Likewise, the Cincinnati Bengals are already eliminated from playoff contention after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs, and it’s not like they can knock out the Browns from the playoffs.

Nonetheless, these two teams don’t like each other, and bragging rights also matter in the National Football League.
