New York Jets quarterback in two places

Even after the New York Jets exited the NFC North, quarterback Aaron Rodgers of the Chicago Bears continues to make fun of them.

With a playoff berth for the Green Bay Packers on the line, Rodgers took a moment to remind everyone just how good his previous team has been against their division rival.

However, maybe inadvertently or as a joke, Rodgers referred to the group as “we” as if he was still a part of the Packers.

Fox Sports pundit Skip Bayless took issue with that and promptly pointed out to Aaron Rodgers that the Packers are no longer his team.

“You are not a ‘we,’ anymore. According to Bayless, this is Jordan Love’s squad. “You’re not on the Packers anymore. Additionally, you were never loved in the locker room as much as Jordan already is.

For Rodgers, who spent 18 years in Green Bay and won a Super Bowl with the team in 2010–11, they are harsh remarks from Bayless directed at him.

However, Bayless may be alluding to the events that transpired with this team over the previous several years, during which Aaron Rodgers specifically asked for players to be added to the roster in order to voice his dissatisfaction with it, a practice he has continued after being traded to New York this past offseason.

Bayless claims that although though Love has received a lot of personal recognition during his time in Green Bay, the squad has come together behind him more quickly and tightly than it did around Rodgers.

To advance the Packers to the playoffs, Love must still triumph this weekend—something Rodgers was unable to accomplish with Green Bay a year ago.
