Crystal Palace buys a star striker

Eddie Nketiah, a striker for Arsenal, is wanted by Crystal Palace, but it appears doubtful that the Gunners will allow the England forward to go this month.

Under former manager Patrick Vieira, the Eagles were interested in signing Nketiah, 24, who has long been an admirer of the team.

Nketiah, who has made 26 appearances so far in 2023–24, has six goals and four assists in competition with Gabriel Jesus for a spot in Mikel Arteta’s squad.

Ivan Toney, a striker for Brentford, has been linked to Arsenal. The 27-year-old’s manager, Thomas Frank, has stated that only a “unbelievable” deal could persuade Toney to leave the Bees.

In 20 Premier League games this season, Palace has scored 22 goals, including a 0-0 draw with Everton in the FA Cup on Thursday.

On Saturday, January 20, they play Arsenal at Emirates Stadium in their next league match.
