Tottenham Hotspur signs “outrageous” player

The Tottenham Hotspur manager, Ange Postecoglou, is eager to add new players to his team as the January transfer market opens.

Spurs’ disappointing eighth-place Premier League result from the previous season—which prevented them from competing in Europe—has been replaced by a renewed sense of optimism after 20 games, with a top four finish very much within reach under the Australian manager’s transformational influence.

Postecoglou’s first focus will be strengthening the backline, but he also stated last month that the team will stick to its plan of recruiting young players for development; as a result, Roony Bardghji might be the man signed this month.

Spurs: Roony Bardghji’s transfer news

As per the Daily Mail, the Lilywhites have included Copenhagen’s Bardghjii on their winter shopping list. It has been reported from Italy that Postecoglou has made a ‘explicit request’ to beat off Chelsea and Manchester United to sign the teenager.

Although the Blues are rumored to be considering making a £9 million approach, it is unclear if the Danish powerhouses would agree to terms for such a low sum.

The 18-year-old Bardghji is thought to be open to a transfer this month, and Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will have to haggle over the best price.
