Georgia WR Jackson Meeks Enters the Transfer Portal

WR Jackson Meeks is the latest Georgia player to announce his intention to enter the NCAA transfer portal.

With Georgia no longer playing for a national championship in 2023, a flood of players have announced their intentions to enter the NCAA transfer portal, with wide receiver Jackson Meeks being the latest player to announce his decision to leave the Georgia program via the portal.

Meeks, a former 3-star prospect from Georgia’s 2021 signing class, was never able to consistently earn a role in Georgia’s receiver rotation and enters the transfer portal likely looking for an opportunity for increased playing time at another school. The Phenix City, Alabama native caught one pass for 23 yards this season and totaled 10 receptions for 132 yards during his three-years in Athens.
