Great News for Raptors New player

Though many think Immanuel Quickley was the main reason the Toronto Raptors traded for OG Anunoby, RJ Barrett’s arrival has had a significant influence on the offensive end. Toronto’s attacking capabilities changed from being mediocre to very terrifying almost instantly.

Barrett has proven to be a reliable player for Toronto, scoring 15.7 points per game in his team’s first three games. However, his performance against Steph Curry and the  GoldenState Warriors, who may be considering a trade for teammate Pascal Siakam, highlights why so many fans are unwilling to give up on Barrett as a starter.

The Raptors were up 27 points at the half after Barrett’s incredible effort, which included 26 points in the first half, ended. A torrent of loud booing descended from a fan base unaccustomed to such lifeless performances when things got so bad.

Toronto’s victory over San Francisco, 133–118, provided more evidence that the offensive adjustments made to the team have improved it. With the Raptors, Barrett in particular appears to have started over, as seen by one of his best outings to date.
