Michigan Wolverines have sign a die heart player

YPSILANTI, Mich.—The third-ranked Wolverines defeated Maryland 31–24 on Saturday to maintain their perfect record. Senior running back Blake Corum of Michigan received a season-high 28 handoffs during the game.

In less than twenty-four hours, the leading rusher in the country was back in Michigan distributing turkeys to underprivileged Ypsilanti neighbourhoods. For the third year in a row, Corum donated milk and turkeys to

neighbourhood organisations in exchange for cash received from name, image, and likeness opportunities.

Corum held its third annual “Giving Back 2 Give Thanks” event on Sunday. This year, 200 turkeys and gallons of milk were distributed at three different locations by the 2022 All-American running back for Michigan, who wears No. 2. About thirty volunteers assisted with the distribution. The 600 donated turkeys represent an increase of 300 from the previous year and 400 from Corum’s inaugural event in 2021.

As Corum was leaving Huron Heights Apartments to go to Perry Elementary to distribute more turkeys, he said, “This is not about me whatsoever.” “This wasn’t all set up by me. It required many of us. Despite being titled the third annual “BC2 Give Back 2 Give Thanks,” a great deal of people worked to make this event possible. It has nothing to do with me. More importantly, it’s about a small community coming together to change things and wanting to make a difference. Undoubtedly, small groups can alter the larger picture, and that’s what I believe we’re doing here.

With a trip to the Big Ten title up for grabs, Michigan is 11-0 going into their matchup with Ohio State in the top three on Saturday. However, for the past month, the programme has also been engulfed in a sign-stealing scandal and other off-field distractions.

The team became the first college football programme to win 1,000 games in its history on Saturday, and head coach Jim Harbaugh was not sidelined due to a three-game suspension handed down by the Big Ten for a violation of the league’s sportsmanship policy.
