HARBAUGH WINS NATTY ON JAN 8; WILL IT MOVE TO D.C. NEXT? After Michigan’s 34-13 victory over the Washington Huskies in Monday night’s College Football Playoff National Championship, head coach Jim Harbaugh and his team are the talk of the football world.
After the victory, Harbaugh—who has previously been connected to the Commanders—will now consider offers from NFL head coaches.
With any luck, the Commanders will be able to schedule their interview and bring a championship-caliber coach to D.C.
COMMANDERS BLOCK COWBOYS FG JAN 7. ATT The Washington Commanders should not be disregarded.
The Commanders special teams came up big when they were trailing 7-0 and Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey was set to attempt for a field goal to tie the score at two. Defensive back Jace Whittaker took the ball all the way to the Cowboys 20-yard line after defensive end Joshua Pryor blocked the attempt goal.

30 DEC FROMM SIGNS FOLLOWING BRISSETT INJURY In advance of their game against the San Francisco 49ers, the Washington Commanders are bringing in more players.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network has learned that quarterback Jake Fromm is being signed by the Commanders to the active roster.
The move could imply that Sam Howell starts tomorrow at 1 p.m. ET against the Niners, as Jacoby Brissett was placed on injured reserve.
BRISSETT ENTERS & SCORES DEC 24 The Washington Commanders benched Sam Howell in favor of Jacoby Brissett for the second straight week, and the veteran quarterback completed a touchdown pass.
