Tennessee titans signed new coach

Mike Vrabel was fired by the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday, an important move. According to one writer, they will be searching for a new head coach and are anticipated to show interest in one of the top prospects.

The Titans should show “significant interest” in signing Ben Johnson, the offensive coordinator of the Detroit Lions, according to Buck Reising, the A to Z Sports analyst covering the team, who stated on X.

If the Titans decided to go for Johnson, they wouldn’t be the only ones. Rumor has it that Carolina is quite interested in the Lions OC.

Although Johnson was a target for a few clubs in the previous campaign, he chose to stay with Detroit in order to continue as their offensive coordinator for another year. The 37-year-old believed he was lacking in experience. He oversaw an attack this season that finished third in yards and fifth in points in the league. In the same categories in 2022, the squad was placed No. 5 and No. 4

Johnson is anticipated to be in great demand when organizations search for new head coaches. For this reason, there has been discussion about his potential big wage demands.

The Titans’ most recent season ended with a 6-11 record, which is their lowest since 2015. Despite having four postseason appearances since 2017, they will likely not have Derrick Henry as their general manager and head coach, among other key changes.
