How Vincent Kompany will Succeed in Premier League

Many of the players that the Clarets manager has brought in during the summer transfer window have improved during the season, and he is happy with some of them.

Even though Burnley is currently five points out of safety and in a fierce battle to keep their Premier League status, Kompany is still optimistic that his club is on the right track.

“Everyone on the team can see it,” he remarked. “I am aware of the realities of the league and the points, and it is up to us to try and deliver whether we arrive on time or not.

However, given that I see players that are far better now than they were three or four months ago, I’m rather optimistic. My main responsibility as a coach is to help them move forward.

“Tresor, Mikey, has shown flashes of brilliance, but Wilson Ottobert, who is only 19, doesn’t play like a 19-year-old kid,” the speaker said.

There aren’t many young players in this league, but there are several. At that age, though, it’s difficult to earn a spot in this league, and he seems like a player who can achieve it.

“These players have improved at a very rapid pace over the last three months, and if they maintain a stable mentality, they will only continue to improve at an even faster rate.”

As a manager, that’s an exciting proposition since there’s still plenty of space for improvement for the team as it stands now before the season ends.

We’ve come very, very near to outcomes on numerous occasions. That’s the narrow margin we’re talking about: I hope that scoring two goals will be matched with not conceding, and not conceding will be matched with scoring a goal. However, each of these athletes is making those moves.

“These guys are producing; they’re getting assists and goals, and I have no doubt that they will keep doing so.”
