Gil has played a supporting role for Tottenham this season and has been strongly linked to leaving the team this month.
Ange Postecoglou has used the Spaniard infrequently, and he is eager to contribute more minutes in the second half of the campaign.
The winger has reportedly drawn interest from Fiorentina, although it appears they are pursuing other players.
Sportitalia, an Italian broadcaster, reports that Fiorentina is not currently evaluating Gil as a possible alternative.
They are making headway in their pursuit of signing Ruben Vargas, and they are currently in negotiations with Augsburg to close a €7 million deal.
It doesn’t appear like they will try to sign Gil from Tottenham in the upcoming days or weeks.
Additionally, Spurs would rather sell the Spaniard than reach an agreement to lend him out once again this month.
