Although they are now teammates with the New York Yankees, Juan Soto and Marcus Stroman had a falling out in the past. Soto appears prepared to set aside their disagreements from the past and come together to win a World Series.
The Yankees and Stroman reached an agreement on Thursday. The news was shared on Instagram by MLB Network, and Soto’s account responded with a remark.
It stated, “We shuffle together now.”
The insightful remark refers to the events that took place in June 2023 between the two guys.
After striking out Soto, an outfielder for the San Diego Padres at the time, Stroman, a pitcher for the Chicago Cubs, taunted him. Watch Stroman make fun of Soto’s shuffling here.
The two can now move in unison.
Although the Yankees lost out on Japanese pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto, the arrival of Stroman provides them a previous two-time All-Star. The Yankees now have a productive hitter in Soto, something they lacked during the previous campaign.
