The golf world has been rife with speculation regarding the clothing brand that 48-year-old Woods will wear since he declared he had split from Nike a week ago.
Over the course of their highly successful 27-year collaboration, Woods wrote a moving social media message.
It’s estimated that Woods received compensation from Nike of almost $500 million.
There were rumors last week that Woods may launch a new apparel collaboration with TaylorMade, his equipment provider.
Although it has a small selection, the brand does currently offer an apparel division.
According to TWLegion’s X report from last week, TaylorMade has begun posting job openings for a new clothing segment.
It would seem reasonable because Woods has been playing with TaylorMade clubs ever since Nike ceased producing golf equipment.
For the most part of his PGA Tour career, Woods has worn Nike Golf shoes. However, as he recovers from ankle surgery after his horrific automobile accident in Los Angeles in 2021, he has been walking the fairways with FootJoy shoes.
