During the 2023 NFL regular season, wide receiver Nico Collins scored eight touchdowns for the Houston Texans. Christian Harris, a linebacker, was scoreless.
In the first-round AFC playoff game on Saturday, the Texans defeated the Cleveland Br0wns 45-14, with both players finding the end zone.
With 11 seconds remaining in the first quarter, Collins, a standout player at Clay-Chalkville, caught a 15-yard pass from quarterback C.J. Stroud for Houston’s first score, giving the Texans a 10-7 lead.
On Saturday, Collins hauled in six passes for 96 yards. It was nearly more: in the second quarter, Collins went behind the Cleveland defenders, but Stroud threw him off on a potential 59-yard touchdown pass.
Collins finished the 2023 regular season with 80 receptions for 1,297 yards and eight touchdowns.
Alabamaon a third-and-1 play and returned the pick 36 yards for his first NFL score.
