Bolton wanderers signed a new player worth £300,000

In order to guarantee that Nathanael Ogbeta boards the team bus for Carlisle United, WANDERERS expeditiously completed a last-minute agreement for him.

The Swansea City defender will be ready for tomorrow afternoon’s match at Brunton Park after being signed on a season-long loan.

Ogbeta has only played six games in his two years at Swansea, which has been a difficult experience for him. Last season, he was sent on loan to Peterborough United in League One, but a ruptured quad muscle terminated his career before it started.

The defender, who was born in Salford, has an expiring contract in the summer and has previously caught Ian Evatt’s attention. Bolton showed interest in the player when he moved from Shrewsbury to the Championship in January 2021 for a fee of £300,000.

After Randell Williams had a hamstring injury that sidelined him for many weeks, Wanderers were in severe need of left defensive cover.

Ogbeta joins the team to challenge Jack Iredale and Zac Ashworth over the next weeks. Since he hasn’t participated in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy, he is qualified for the tournament.
