Bolton Wanderers is aiming to bring in many players before the January transfer window closes, as they are among the leading candidates for automatic promotion in League One this season.
Although the Trotters haven’t finalized any moves yet, Ian Evatt’s team will likely have a busy last week of the window as he tries to bolster the team’s capabilities to give them an advantage over rivals like Portsmouth, Peterborough United, and Derby County.
Bolton Wanderers is considering a number of transactions before the transfer deadline.
Niall Ennis, a striker for Blackburn Rovers, is apparently on Ian Evatt’s radar. Alan Nixon of The Sun claims—via his Patreon account—that the Trotters are nearing an agreement to sign the 24-year-old.
Nixon has also suggested a central defender and midfielder could also be on the agenda, as Evatt looks to cement his team’s automatic promotion ambitions.
The Trotters currently sit third just two points behind leaders Portsmouth having played two games less, so if they win their games in hand they will be top of the League One standings.
