Burnleys Hot Transfer news, that got fans worried

Anass Zaroury, a Burnley forward, has joined Hull City on loan.

Zaroury was a mainstay in Vincent Kompany’s lineup throughout the team’s promotion-winning campaign the previous season. He signed with the Clarets in the summer of 2022.

In 34 league games, the winger contributed six goals and six assists, enabling the Clarets to win the Championship with ease.

The Moroccan has, however, dropped in the standings this season, appearing only five times as a substitute in six Premier League games.

Having found playing time hard to come by, Zaroury has been allowed to join Hull on loan for the remainder of the 2023-24 campaign.

“I’m so delighted that Anass has agreed to join the club,” Hull boss Liam Rosenior told the club’s official website.

“He’s a player of proven pedigree at this level, having been a huge part of Burnley’s Championship-winning season. Anass is someone I’ve absolutely loved from the first time I saw him play and he’s going to give us so much quality from wide areas.

“He’s going to get fans off their seats. He’s a technical player who takes the ball, can go one-v-one and completely fits into our style of football.

I appreciate Tan and Acun supporting me. This acquisition embodies the goals and aspirations of the football team.”

Zaroury’s arrival completes the Tigers’ eventful winter window, which also included the additions of Ivor Pandur, Ryan Giles, Abdulkadir Omur, Fabio Carvalho, Noah Ohio, and Billy Sharp.
