St Mirren Football Club is delighted to confirm that James Bolton has agreed a one-year contract extension with the club that will keep him at Saints until summer 2025.
The 29-year-old defender joined the club in July 2023 following the expiry of his contract at English Championship side Plymouth Argyle.
James made his debut in our Viaplay Cup group stage win against Forfar Athletic in July and has made 18 appearances for the Saints so far this season including six starts in our last six matches.
Manager Stephen Robinson said: “James had to be patient for his chance. Our three centre-halves started the season well, but he’s been the ultimate professional and now broken into the team.
