Cardiff City Star Agreed to €2m Deal to Leave Club

West Brom are preparing for the visit of Cardiff City to The Hawthorn’s on Tuesday night, as the two battle in the EFL Championship.

The Baggies conceded a stoppage time goal to Ipswich Town last time out, and will rue the opportunity of being unable to close the gap on the Tractor Boys. To make matters worse, Daryl Dike and Kyle Bartley were both forced off in the draw. Both players will undergo scans to understand the severity of the injury but in Dike’s case it’s a big blow given he has only just returned from an eight-month lay-off from an Achilles injury.

Take this with a pinch of salt given how popular Carlos Corberan is amongst supporters. Reports in Italy, most specifically from Tuttosport, claim that the Baggies have made an offer to Ivan Juric, who is the manager of Torino. Juric will be out of contract at the end of the season and announced he would be departing Torino in a press conference. Tuttosport claim that Juric has been offered an ‘enticing’ contract and that it is worth €2m per season in wages.

Corberan is under contract at The Hawthorn’s until the summer of 2027. He was tied down to a new deal last year amid interest from his former club Leeds United.
