Shaw is expected to rejoin Raphael Varane, Harry Maguire, Diogo Dalot, and Andre Onana, but even if Scott McTominay scored in the 86th minute at Villa Park, it might not be enough for the Scot to get past Casemiro or rising sensation Kobbie Mainoo.

Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, and Alejandro Garnacho are ready to create an untested supporting cast for the highly effective Rasmus Hojlund, while Mason Mount remains bedridden in the infirmary.

The Dane became the second-youngest player in Premier League history to score five goals in a row, behind only Nicolas Anelka.
